It’s hard to believe but right up Little Cottonwood Canyon, only .1 miles off of the road, is a beautiful little waterfall – Lisa Falls. This is a perfect hike for beginners or a family with small kids. It only takes about 5 minutes on a winding dirt path.

You walk through tall trees and cross a little creek so it feels like an adventure yet it is so short anyone can do it!!!

This flat rock we are standing on would be so fun for a picnic! Sit back relax and let the kids play around on the fun boulders and climbing wall.

We didn’t see any other people the entire time we were there – hard to believe we were only 15 minutes away from the Salt Lake valley.

To access the trail head drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon 2.7 miles (from where the roads come together). There is parking on the right (south) side of the road for the Little Cottonwood Canyon Trail. Across the street on the north side there is much less parking, and the trail head to Lisa Falls Trail is located there – it is unmarked.

The trail head is just past our car parked above. Have Fun!!!
