I am a Junior at the University of Utah and I am studying Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. Fitting, right? I have grown up in Utah and have been going on fun adventures my whole life both in Utah and out. I have my mom to thank for that. She loves getting out and seeing new places, but we will get to her later. My first big adventure was when I was only 4 months old, my family went on a trip to the Grand Canyon and hiked 8 miles in and out (we will share more about this later). Ever since then I have been traveling all over. In fact, just this last spring I was living in Thailand. I was there for 5 months. Four of the months I was teaching English in a little school, and the last month was spent backpacking through Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. These are obviously not in Utah but they are still pretty great. Well, enough about me. You will be getting to hear more about me in the adventures to come. I love to travel, seek adventure and have fun. Since I was a young girl, my parents would take me to see many areas of Utah that others just passed by on their way to a resort or other vacation destination. While trying to find rail road spikes, Indian dwellings or seeking out ghost towns I fell in love with Utah and its secret places to explore. As I raised my 3 kids I tried to instill in them the love of Utah and would often take each child with their friends on day field trips or weekend getaways to many of the great boundaries of this wonderful State.  You are NEVER TOO YOUNG OR TOO OLD to get out and see new areas and try out different activities.  WHAT A GREAT STATE.  So welcome aboard and LET’S SEE UTAH!
